We understand that there are many different strands of knowledge that need to be bought together to create the right design and because of this we can offer a range of complementary services for the benefit of our many Clients.
The more analytical approach to development planning these days requires a high degree of site analysis to identify the contextual nature of the site and the constraints and opportunities affecting the designs. We can and do undertake this work as an intrinsic part of the design process and in preparing the overall masterplan for larger sites and projects.
This same process of analysis is also used to make assessments of existing buildings where proposals are for conversion to other uses, extension of the building or simple refurbishments.
To support the need to bring sustainability to the forefront of the design process we engage with Energy Assessors and other professionals who are able to carry out the early assessment and evaluation of projects to maximise the projects efficiency now and into the future.
All construction projects need to be conceived and designed in recognition of the impact and direction given by current Town Planning legislation and how that legislation may evolve and change over time.
The Practice has a depth of knowledge of the planning system and a network of contacts who actively work within it which allows us to offer Clients correct and timely advice with which to plan their projects and also how to use the system efficiently for the best results.
